We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This is a legal requirement under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.
What this website provides
- The whole website can be used with a keyboard alone
- A skip link to jump straight to the main content
- A text description for every image
- Proper structure and headings for screen readers
- Sufficient contrast between text and background
- Reduced-motion preferences are respected
- Correct language marking for Marathi content
Known limitations
Some older PDF documents are scanned images. A screen reader cannot read their text. Work to convert these into accessible formats is under way.
In the meantime, if you need the information in any such document in an accessible format, please contact us and we will provide it.
