The full eligibility and document list
- The applicant must belong to a Scheduled Tribe community.
- The applicant's annual family income limit, for both rural and urban areas, is ₹3,00,000.
- The applicant's age must be between 18 and 45 years for all schemes.
- No personal contribution (margin money) is expected under the Women's Empowerment scheme. For the caste-certificate requirement, the certificate of the woman's husband or of her children is also acceptable.
- Simple interest is charged on the Women's Empowerment loan at a low rate of 4% per annum.
- Caste certificate from the Tehsil or Sub-Divisional (Prant) office (Scheduled Tribe only)

- Income certificate from the Tehsil office (must be within ₹3,00,000 for both rural and urban areas)
- A self-declaration for Gram Panchayat areas, or a licence under the Shops Act for Municipal Council areas
